Bolivia Promises Honest Govt
Bolivian Vice President Alvaro García explained the importance of winning the December presidential elections and for majors and prefects in April 2010 at a rally in Montero, Santa Cruz.
In his campaign trail, Vice President García stopped at that town in eastern Bolivia, where he promised to work for the economic development of that region.
He highlighted the support President Evo Morales has in other parts of the country, and vowed that his government will continue to work in the new 2010-2015 term to better the economic indicators, create more state enterprises, mantain the social programs and industrialize the country's natural resources.
He called on the hard-working people of Santa Cruz and those committed to work for development to vote for the ruling Movement Towards Socialism party of Evo Morales.
Before he led similar rallys in La Paz, Oruro, Cochabamba, Beni and Chuquisaca.
Garcia promised to run a cabinet open to the people for the times of clashes and resentment the opposition led are gone.
